Application
Cimclean PC 340-02 is an alkaline detergent specially designed for cleaning products made of aluminum, steel, brass, as well as galvanized surfaces from oils, ZOR, and drawing lubricants. This agent is designed for use in high-pressure technological sprayer washing machines, but can also be used in immersion and soaking processes.
Properties and benefits
Cimclean PC 340-02 does not cause pitting and general corrosion, as well as stains, on untreated and treated aluminum surfaces. Aluminum samples immersed in a 3% solution of this agent did not darken and did not show signs of corrosion for a month. Cimclean PC 340-02 does not affect galvanized sheets, as well as brass and copper. Cimclean PC 340-02 protects iron and steel from rust without requiring the addition of corrosion inhibitors.
Cimclean PC 340-02 is mainly intended for high-pressure sprayer washers operating at "room" temperatures, but can also be used at elevated temperatures. Cimclean PC 340-02 practically does not form foam and has oil-repellent properties.
A working concentration of 3% in aqueous solution is usually recommended for this product. A lower concentration can be used to remove minor contamination and residues of hazardous waste. When contaminated with heavy oils and greases, it is sometimes necessary to increase the concentration. When cleaning iron and steel parts, to ensure proper anti-corrosion protection, a concentration of 2% - 3% is recommended. An increased concentration of Cimclean PC 340-02, ranging from 5% to 10%, is sometimes required for washing with immersion or soaking in special baths.
For the disposal of Cimclean PC 340-02, the usual waste treatment process is sufficient. As this product is an alkaline material, appropriate precautions must be taken.

Methods of application:
Cimclean PC 340-02 is easy to mix, requiring only routine mixing. For automatic mixing, the use of Cimcool Mix Master or Cimcool Mix Master S dispensers is recommended. Under normal conditions, the initial water temperature should be 5 - 25°C.

For concentration analysis, use one of the methods below or another appropriate laboratory analysis method offered by your local supplier.
Refractometer:
Refractive index of the product: 4.1
When determining the concentration (%) using a refractometer, it is necessary to multiply the readings on the scale by the coefficient. This method will be accurate for new solutions.
Determination of concentration by titration method:
Sample solution: 10 ml Indicator: bromophenol blue 2-3 drops, until the color changes to blue or purple
Titration solution: add 0.5N HCl drop by drop to the sample solution until the color changes to yellow
Product factor: 0.4
Concentration calculation in %: spent volume 0.5 HCl/product factor
