Description

LAB OIL 100WT is a water-soluble agent for protection against corrosion of the emulsion type. The presence of wax in the product provides the necessary lubricating properties to meet the requirements of the automotive industry.

Application
LAB OIL 100WT combines the properties of good protection of ferrous metals from corrosion, excellent emulsification with water and has good properties of protecting the environment and the workplace of operators. LAB OIL 100WT does not contain barium compounds.
LAB OIL 100WT has been developed to provide excellent emulsion resistance to alkaline or acidic contaminants encountered in phosphating processes, as conventional water-based corrosion inhibitors often have extremely poor resistance to alkaline or acidic contaminants.
Concentration: 5-30% by volume.
Operating temperature: 60°C - 65°C
Immersion time: 1-3 minutes.

Preparation of the composition:
ALWAYS ADD LAB OIL 100WT TO WATER.
Fill the tank 2/3 with clean warm water (40-50 ° C). To facilitate emulsification, it is recommended to use heated water. Add the required amount of LAB OIL 100WT concentrate. Mix thoroughly. Heat to desired operating temperature.
Maximum corrosion resistance will be achieved when the concentration of LAB OIL 100WT is maintained at 20-30% by volume.
Using a LAB OIL 100WT bath at a temperature of 60°C or higher will pasteurize the emulsion and prevent bacterial growth.

Equipment
Tanks for LAB OIL 100WT can be made of ordinary steel. Solutions can be heated by steam, gas or heated by immersion electric heaters.

How to choose coolant concentration for metal grinding

Coolant is not just "water for cooling." In the grinding process, it acts as a technological lubricant that directly affects the service life of the abrasive belt and the final quality of the part.

Concentration is one of the most critical operational parameters. Why shouldn't you work "by eye," and how do you find the perfect balance? Let's dive in.

A water-soluble corrosion inhibitor, of the emulsion type, usually contains anti-corrosion substances dissolved in water. This type of agent can be used to protect metal surfaces from corrosion by creating a protective layer on their surface.
