Alkaline detergent CIMCLEAN® APC31-134

Cimclean APC31-134 is an alkaline detergent designed specifically for degreasing virtually all types of metals such as aluminum, steel, brass or galvanized metals.
Cimclean APC31-134 is intended for use by spraying under both normal and high pressure conditions, and can also be used by immersion or soaking.

Features and benefits
Cimclean APC31-134 does not cause any corrosion or tarnishing of aluminum, including on rough cast or machined aluminum surfaces.
This detergent passes the aluminum alloy tarnish test with flying colors. Samples of various aluminum alloys soaked in a 2% solution of this material remained light and without traces of corrosion for a month. Galvanized sheet is not affected by Cimclean APC31-134, as well as brass or copper.
Cimclean APC31-134 protects iron and steel against rust without the addition of additional corrosion inhibitors.
Cimclean APC31-134 is primarily intended for use in high-pressure spray applications. It can be used at room temperature, but can also be used at elevated temperatures.
Cimclean APC31-134 is non-foaming and will separate oils perfectly. The material usually cleans well at the recommended working concentration of 2%. Lower concentrations can be used to remove light soiling and treat HAZMAT, while higher concentrations are sometimes needed for heavy oil and grease soiling.
Concentrations of 2% to 3% are recommended when iron or steel parts are being washed to provide longer corrosion protection. Higher concentrations of Cimclean APC31-134 for dipping or soaking methods are recommended at concentrations in the range of 5% to 10%.

Method of preparation
Cimclean APC31-134 can be easily mixed in the usual way. For automatic mixing, it is recommended to use a Cimcool MixMaster or Cimcool MixMasterS (mixer). The temperature of the mixing water is -5-25°C.

Recommended initial concentration
Under normal processing conditions 2 - 3%.

Mix Master S The concentration is easily obtained by setting the regulator to the desired value.
The concentration may vary depending on the operating conditions. For this reason, a check with a refractometer or TAkit titration kit is recommended.

Concentration analysis
To analyze the concentration, use the method below or an appropriate laboratory procedure available from your supplier.

Refractive index: 4.3
When using a refractometer, the result multiplied by a factor of 4.3 will only be valid for fresh solution.

Transportation and storage
Protect from freezing, direct sunlight and store between 5 and 35 °C.

Packaging type
20, 200 and 1000 liters.
